I hope you’re doing well. The times just keep getting stranger, but I’ve got to tell you the weather here is beautiful. The sky is blue. The birds are singing. We also have a pandemic, economic disaster and violence in the streets. It’s almost as the old hymn says, “… Every prospect pleases, and only man is vile.” I don’t believe we’re really vile. We can still rise to the touch of our better angels. But if we want to prove that, we have some serious issues to work through. Time to man up, humanity.
Delta Moon, like other bands in the world, is booking no shows at the present. Besides the shutdown, I’m still chained to this chemo and immunotherapy that knocks me flat on my back for a few days every third week. I want the doctors to say, “That’s it, you’re clear,” and they haven’t done that. Slowly but surely, though, the cancer is shrinking. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, which I assure you do make a difference.
