The year 2020 has sure been a strange one, wouldn’t we all agree? Who would’ve thought that the world would be threatened by a pandemic which has affected so many lives, and our way of life? It has been a life-changing experience for many folks, whether through personal sickness, loss of loved ones, lost jobs, change of routine, etc. Although recent reports indicate that we are on the other side of the curve, there is discussion about another spike in cases occurring later this year, possibly around September, around the time we would have GABBAfest. The GABBA Board of Directors are very concerned about this and after much discussion, we have decided to postpone GABBAfest until September 23 -26, 2021. We would rather err on the side of caution and ensure that all of our patrons remain healthy and safe. We want to see everyone return to Macon year after year and enjoy the fellowship and music we have all come to enjoy.

We plan to present the same theme and performers in 2021. The tickets you have purchased may be used for the rescheduled dates or you may request a refund. Refunds must be requested by August 1, 2020. It may take up to 60 days after August 1st to receive the refund. Please note that if you bought the tickets through the Early Bird presale those ticket prices will no longer be available should you get a refund and decide later to attend. There will be no 2021 presale. If you bought your tickets from the Grand Opera House you will receive an email from them this weekend with instructions on requesting a refund. If you bought your tickets directly from GABBA, please send an email to [email protected] or send a private message to Laraine Cooper Potter to request a refund. Again, refunds must be requested by August 1, and refunds may take up to 60 days after that date to receive the refund.

We appreciate your support of GABBA over the years and we look forward to seeing everyone in 2021!
