Live music aficionado Tammy Meadows was tired of not being able to hear live music during the Covid Pandemic, so she decided that when it was safer, she would have live music in her own backyard. Hence, the Backyard Bandstand was born. The musicians play on her back deck and the audience sits in her beautiful yard surrounded by hanging flower baskets and a bamboo grove. Also sharing the lawn is the Backyard Bandstand mascot, a wild bunny who stops by to hear the music as well. Outdoor party lights and a great fire pit also lends to the ambience.
A reservation is required, and donation fee is gratefully accepted – all proceeds go to the musicians. Bring your own Booze, chairs, food and if you’d like limited menu selections will be available – and come have a great time with like-minded people.
