Host Band is Blind Jive
Our July Gathering & Jam will be on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 3pm-6pm and will be at The Green Room in Mableton, Georgia. Our host band is Blind Jive, an up and coming local band made up of talented Gen Z musicians. This Gathering will be dedicated to bringing Blues to a younger generation of musicians and fans.
The Green Room is the perfect venue for a family friendly gathering that will be fun for the whole family. They have a huge wood burning pizzas oven and serve the best homemade pizza, calzones and sandwiches in the Greater Atlanta area. They also serve delicious homemade ice cream. For the adults they have an extensive selection of local craft beer, wines, and sparkling beverages. Best of all they are dedicated to presenting quality music and have a great stage and sound system.
We will have a jam, which we hope will feature some talented youngsters and young in spirit musicians and vocalists. We will have our usual raffles going on, which benefits our Blue Flame Fund to help local musicians in need. This event is free and the venue is of course smoke-free. We encourage you to bring the whole family and it will be a great way for kids of all ages to learn about the blues.
