Art at the Springs Festival & 5K
Saturday, September 14, 2024, 10am-6pm
at Thurman Springs Park,
Powder Springs, Georgia
Join in the fun at the Art at the Springs Festival & 5K on Saturday September 14, 2024, 10am-6pm at Thurman Springs Park. Blending art, music, food, and community into one memorable, family friendly event. There will be a 5K Walk/Run (8am), a Plein Air Art Competition, Children’s Activity Center, and Stage Performances at the amphitheatre. The Atlanta Blues Society will be providing a Blues Band, Chequered Blue, to play at the Amphitheatre from 12-2pm.
Stage performances schedule:
• 10am-12pm, Harp performance by the Georgia Symphony
• 12pm-2pm, Chequered Blue by the Atlanta Blues Society
• 2pm-2:30pm, Sleepy Hollow by the Georgia Ballet
• 2:30pm-3:15pm, Jazz performance by Whitfield Academy
• 3:15pm-4pm, Brass performance by Fountain City Brass
• 4pm-4:20pm, Harp students performance by Artz for the Harp
• 4:20pm-5pm, Yoga instruction
• 5-6pm, Hip Hop Dance performance by Rockwell Dance Academy
We will set up our ABS tent and will be manning a table near the stage so please come by and say hello.
