GABBA Celebrates Spring
Sunday, May 4, 2025, 1-5pm
at Fish-n-Pig on Lake Tobesofkee

The Georgia Allman Brothers Band Association will host its fourth annual spring concert on Sunday, May 4 at the Fish-n-Pig at Lake Tobesofkee. The show is free and open to the public, and will feature music by The Wall, and JJ Bennett and The Mercy. The event runs from 1 until 5 pm and is sponsored by EnigMAT. Fish n’ Pig is located at 6420 Mosely Dixon Rd in Bibb County on Lake Tobesofkee. The concert will take place outside under a covered pavilion. Fish n’ Pig will sell select menu items and drinks. An opening set will be performed by young rockers JJ Bennett and The Mercy. Local legends The Wall, fronted by Bruce Whitten, will headline the show. Donations will gratefully be accepted.

GABBA is a registered 501 c3 and has held annual events in Macon for over 30 years. The late September festival GABBAFest is a family reunion of Allman Brothers fans from all over the world and is a unique bucket list event for fans of southern rock. Events are held all over town – The Grand Opera House, Capitol Theatre, The Big House, Grant’s Lounge, Fresh Produce Records, Gallery West, Rose Hill Cemetery, Capricorn Studios, etc. People of all ages and all walks of life, united by an appreciation of The Allman Brothers Band and Macon, Georgia. ALL EVENTS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!

In the last few years GABBA was able to make donations to the Macon Methodist Children’s Home, Rose Hill 1840 for restoration work at Rose Hill Cemetery, Depaul Daybreak for Skydog Music Festival, The Otis Redding Foundation for the Otis Music Camp, The Big House Foundation, The Grand Opera House, The Tubman Museum for their Macon music collection, the Washington Memorial Library Archives Special Collections, and local musicians in need.
