Larry Charles is the Chief Operating Officer of The Atlanta Blues Connection. Established in October of 2024 as a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit corporation.
Larry has helped many local and regional blues artists and bands by transporting them by van along the I-10 corridor between Jacksonville Florida and Tallahassee Florida, thereby preserving the culture of the blues. Originally finding the blues in Memphis in 1986, Larry has met Bobby Rush and Barbara Blue and others that made a mark in the blues world.
Living in the Atlanta area he started going out to hear the many blues artists who live here such as Roger “Hurricane” Wilson, Sandra Hall, Willie King, Albert White and many others. Larry is looking forward to finding new and upcoming blues artists and to helping the Atlanta Blues Society and local blues artists in the future.
