March 24, 1951-November 6, 2020
From the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise:
It is with Deep Sadness and Sorrow to report that the LRBC Family lost a Major Friend, Colleague and Member this week. Our beloved emcee “Scrap Iron” was killed by a tractor trailer in a freak accident in Memphis on Friday afternoon while on his job. Frank’s partner Wanada Parham called us today in shock that the Love of her life was gone from this world. We are completely devastated and will post any forthcoming information as we receive it. Meanwhile we honor his life here with us and will keep his animated ever presence spirit alive in our hearts.
Frank Robinson Jr. aka “Scrap Iron” was given the moniker by Little Milton. Rest In Peace our dear friend.

I am so sorry to hear this about my homie and friend that I was so fond of I am going to miss his humor on the radio on Sunday, my dear friend RIP until we meet again 😥🙏♥️
How shocking and sad it was for me learn of Frank’s death. It’s never a good time to lose someone you love. The pain is deep and immeasurable. Thank God for his son and life partner, Wanada Parham. Frank and I share the Yazoo City connection. His parents loved him and gave him their best. My sincere condolences to Wanada, his son and all those who loved Frank. Lean on God’s promise is that we shall be reunited with those we loved and lost on this side of life.
